We are so excited for the 3rd Annual Downing Glen Fall Festival & Chili Cook-Off! Please read below with details for the Chili Rules and Regulations and activities for the day:
-All participants must message Christine Daly via Facebook or email (christinevdaly@gmail.com) by Thursday Oct 25th at 5:00 pm if you would like to enter your chili into the competition. No late entries will be accepted.
-All chili entries must be brought to Christine at the pool parking lot by 3:00pm in a crockpot with an extension cord. Please note that this year NO CONDIMENTS/TOPPINGS WILL BE ALLOWED, strictly just the chili.
-This is a blind taste-test (Christine will deliver all samples to the judges), so no "promotional decorations" will be considered. No need to decorate your entry.
-1st, 2nd and 3rd place gift card prizes will be awarded. It's all about the taste!
-Christine and Jay Murray will tally the votes of our guest judges (Morrisville Fire Fighters) after they sample around 4pm. 
-All chili will be available for community members to enjoy after the judging is complete.

Live music!
Beer, wine, water and lemonade will be provided. If you prefer something else to drink please bring whatever you'd like!
-Bring the whole family! Lia Byers will be judging a costume contest (0-13yr old only) and as pumpkin carving contest (open to all ages) at 3:00pm in the parking lot - prizes will be awarded to the winners!
-Jay Murray and his family will host kids' activities, including a bouncy house, and lots of games with prizes!
-Bring your camera for fun photo opportunities!
***MORE FUN CONTINUES... with a movie at dusk (6:30-7:00pm) hosted by Wendy Akers Pryor. Please bring your bag chairs or a blanket and join! (Movie will be PG rated - TBD). FREE POPCORN will be provided!
